Banh Mi San Marcos: Discover Exceptional Vietnamese Sandwiches in San Marcos

Pulled into the shopping center not knowing this place was here, very glad I stopped in. Food and service is excellent. Got great recommendation on what to get that was more unique to their menu. Bread was fresh and perfect. Pickled veggies were delicious. Grilled pork was excellent. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

First time here. Great food! Really tasty marinade on the meat, really delicious bread, and yummy veggies. The older man working at the counter was really sweet and kind. The sandwiches could use a bit more meat in them, as it was a little thin- but other than that, everything was great! Highly recommended.

I'm so sad I didn't get the man's name but he was the sweetest human! He recommended the grilled pork sandwich and it was so tasty! Also got some coffees to recharge! We just only in the area for a jiu jitsu tournament but so glad we stopped by!

I did a comparison with the Vietnamese restaurant next door and around the area. This place blows everything out of the water! Ask for Double meet and extra veggies and you got yourself an amazing sandwich! 10/10

Wonderful spot! Yummy Banh Mi!! We got the grilled chicken and grilled pork Banh my and an egg roll. Tasted super fresh. Bread was perfect. Super customer service to. Lovely family owned shop.

I love banh mi so Ive had banh mi in many different places. To be honest, I usually don’t write reviews but I couldn’t resist for this one I ordered pork roll and ham sandwich with extra pate, meat, veggies, mayo, cilantro I didn’t expect much but after one bite I somehow figured out this banh mi might be the best one out of all those banh mi i ate The baguette was very crispy outside (but not like the thick crisps that tear up the roof of your mouth)and inside was soft and fresh. The other ingredients were fresh as well. Personally I love the pickled carrots and daikon which is why I paid extra for veggies so I wish there were more of them But overall, this banh mi was amazing

This place totally hits the spot! The BBQ pork is amazing and the bread is nicely toasted. Make sure you ask for the sweet chili sauce- it’s amazing! Staff were very friendly and approachable. Came for lunch and wasn’t busy. It was a peaceful atmosphere. Would recommend! Thank you Johnson

We wanted to try some other place in the same block, but it wasn't open so my friend said let's try this place. I was pleasantly surprised as the bahn mi's actually quite delicious. Tasty meat, cucumbers, carrots and cilantro were sandwiched between fresh french bread. I would have liked a bit more veggies but overall it was still pretty decent. An added plus is the owner's super friendly. I recommend this place.
